Aurelo uses the latest AI models for high-accuracy translation. With 1-2 seconds of processing time, the AI delivers 99%+ accuracy for live church services—more than enough for congregants to follow along and stay engaged with the message.
Do listeners need to download an app?
No. The church operator downloads the Aurelo desktop app, but listeners simply scan a QR code and listen in their web browser. They don’t install anything or create an account. It works on any phone, tablet, or laptop—iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac, or Linux.
Do we need special equipment?
Just a computer (Mac or Windows) and a USB audio interface to connect to your PA system. Or use a standalone USB, XLR, TRS or Bluetooth microphone for smaller groups. No receivers, transmitters, or specialized translation equipment required.
How many people can listen at once?
Unlimited. On local WiFi, the practical limit is your network capacity, and most church networks handle 200+ listeners easily. Local streaming doesn’t use internet bandwidth per listener, and you can also enable internet access for attendees who prefer mobile data.
Can we use our existing PA system?
Yes! Connect Aurelo to your church sound board with a USB audio interface. The translation captures whatever plays through your speakers—sermons, music, announcements. No separate microphones needed. Perfect for professional church setups.
Do we need church interpretation equipment or headsets?
No new church interpretation equipment required. Aurelo streams to phones, existing church headset translation receivers, or any device on your WiFi—so you can reuse what you own.

How much does a church translation system cost?
Aurelo has a permanent free plan — every account gets 2 hours of church translation every month, forever, with no credit card required. Paid plans start at €49/month (10 hours) for small congregations, €89/month (20 hours) for growing churches, and €199/month (50 hours) for large services. Yearly billing saves up to 40%. No hardware or equipment costs.
What about internet connectivity?
The operator computer needs stable internet (5 Mbps+) for AI translation. For listeners, Aurelo is designed to run best on local WiFi, so audio doesn’t use internet bandwidth per listener even with 100+ people. If needed, you can also enable internet access so attendees can listen on mobile data.
Can I customize the branding?
Currently, listeners see the Aurelo interface when they scan the QR code. We're working on custom branding options for Pro and Enterprise plans, allowing you to add your church logo and colors to the listening experience.
Do you offer church live captions?
Yes. Aurelo provides church live captions alongside audio translation for church. You can display transcription captions in the original language or translated subtitles in the target language—keeping multilingual church services accessible for Deaf/HoH and non-native speakers.
Can we download transcripts after services?
Yes! All Pro and Ultra plans include the ability to download full transcripts and translations after each session. Perfect for creating study materials, sermon notes, or archiving your messages.
Can Aurelo translate worship songs in real-time?
No, Aurelo is specifically designed for speech translation—sermons, announcements, teachings, and conversations. Real-time music translation is not supported and may not produce accurate results. For the best experience, we recommend using Aurelo for spoken word content during your services.
Can I translate into multiple languages at the same time?
Yes. With Internet listener access, Aurelo can translate one service into multiple languages at the same time. Your church chooses the available languages; each listener scans the QR code and selects the one they need. Usage for each additional language is metered only while that language has active listeners. Local WiFi listening continues to carry the primary language.
